A retractable pool enclosure is a high-performance solution designed to maximise pool usability throughout the entire year. By combining a robust aluminium structure with advanced polycarbonate glazing, it creates a controlled swimming environment while maintaining the flexibility of an outdoor pool experience.
The telescopic design allows the enclosure to be opened or closed within minutes, adapting instantly to changing weather conditions. During warm periods, the enclosure can be fully or partially opened to enjoy fresh air and natural light. In cooler or wet conditions, it provides a protected and comfortable indoor-style space, significantly extending the swimming season.
The commercial grade structural system is engineered in accordance with international building standards and local codes. The aluminium framework is electrostatically powder-coated for long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and minimal maintenance. All fixings and components are manufactured from stainless steel or non-corrosive materials to ensure reliability in demanding pool environments.
The roof is glazed with 16 mm triple-wall polycarbonate featuring solar control technology. This material offers excellent thermal insulation, soft diffused daylight, and 99 percent UV filtration, reducing heat loss and glare while maintaining a bright and pleasant interior. Side and end walls are fitted with 4 mm solid polycarbonate panels in a tinted solar-control finish, providing high transparency, impact resistance, and enhanced safety.
A retractable pool enclosure delivers substantial operational savings by reducing heat loss, minimising debris entering the pool, and lowering chemical and cleaning requirements. By maintaining more stable water temperatures and shielding the pool from wind and rain, energy consumption is significantly reduced. Surrounding surfaces and poolside furniture are also protected from UV exposure and weather-related wear.
The modular system is designed for efficient installation and straightforward operation. Manual opening systems allow smooth movement of the enclosure modules without the need for electrical or mechanical infrastructure. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. I received a quote after my first email, we had an office visit to review enclosure options, and the director visited the site to assess and measure the pool area. The installation was smooth, and I’m very happy with the entire process.
The installers were friendly, communicated well, paid great attention to detail, and were able to solve issues on the spot—for example, removing a palm stump during the concrete extension. Vit and his team have just finished installing our enclosure, and we can't be happier with the finished product, service and communication. This was a bit of a lengthy process given our pool install was delayed for nearly 2 years by the pool company but Vit kept in contact, so when we were ready for him he was able to come down within a very reasonable period of time.
Now looking forward to many years of swimming for most of the year, even though we're near Canberra😁.

A little daunting when it arrived but cracked on and it was up in no time. My Wife is now happy as she doesn't have to worry about a cool breeze when she gets out of the pool. Also heating hoping that as it's maintaining the temp over 33c (in Feb) that as the weather cools the water will be bearable without needing the heater, at least until Winter. Looks superb too.
Warning be careful of imposters when I started looking last year, I ended up from eBay being redirected to Alibaba. It looked exactly the same, but they only accepted payment by bank transfer or Alibaba's app.

Our experience with Vit and KBL Pool Enclosures has been fantastic from the beginning to the end. Vit was very helpful with information, coordinated so well with our pool builders, kept us informed every step of the way and arrive and installed the cover exactly when he said he would. KBL maintains a very professional standard and I feel like we were treated as valued customers, not just another job. And the product itself is amazing. It will give us year-round swimming in the very variable weather of Canberra. I can't believe most pools in the ACT don't have these kinds of covers as they give your pool much more life and utility. We’ve had the pool cover for about three years now and it has performed flawlessly, installation was done on the scheduled date without any issues.
We have recently decided to extend the enclosure to have an area high enough to be able to stand and change into warm clothing during the cooler months, again Vit was a delight helping us with the design and logistics of the extra unit.

Overall the product has more than met our expectations. It looks better than my wife envisaged (win win), and so far evaporation has been minimal, and heat retention fantastic.

After contacting Vit at KBL and in desperation to solve the amount of leaves deposited in the pool everyday ( clogging up the skimmer box ) i purchased a Klasik C pool enclosure and elected to install it myself . It was delivered on time and found Vit very helpful with any queries i had , promptly answering emails,text and phone calls . Assembly was very challenging due to shape of pool and limited space . I found all pieces were formed and holes drilled to be very accurate and quality exceptional . Modules are very easy to move and no more leaves problem . Very happy with the purchase and backup provided

Absolutely delighted with the enclosure. Vit and team did a fantastic job. They were efficient, tidy and did quality work. This enclosure will be perfect for our climate here in Melbourne and will certainly extend our swimming season…not to mention no more cleaning up leaves out the pool all the time! Highly recommend!!

We love our pool enclosure!! Vit was very helpful from our first conversation all the way through the process. He provide a quote promptly and was always available to answer any questions we had. We requested quotes from other suppliers who were either supplying a cheap and nasty enclosure or alot more expensive for the same product. We live in country NSW which was no problem for Vit. Installation was done with high attention to detail. This enclosure means we can swim all year round and in any weather. The pool is always clean. I highly recommend this product, it is the perfect solution to enclosing your pool at an affordable price and it looks great too! Thank you Vit, awesome job and great guys to deal with!
